About this site
A comparison site for AI detection tools that looks like it was drawn on the back of a notebook. Because it kind of was.
What's the idea?
Type "best AI detector" into google and you get fifty copies of the same WordPress site decked out with star ratings and affiliate links. They all sound alike. They all look like they were written from the same prompt.
HumanProduced is the AntiBet: form is content. A website boldly proclaiming "Human Produced" shouldn't look like every other cookie cutter SaaS landing page. The uneven borders, notebook paper, ink-blotted ratings - that was deliberate. Humans are still making shit. Prove of concept: This very site.
What we do
- Free detector — a lightweight checker that runs entirely in your browser. Good for quick sanity checks, not courtroom evidence.
- Honest comparisons — we test the same texts through every tool and tell you what actually happened, including when humanizers beat the detectors.
- Guides for real people — teachers, journalists, writers. Not "top 10" listicles.
Dr. Monica's Column (coming soon)
Our lead reviewer is Dr. Monica van Heerden van Heerden — a retired university professor with a PhD in Education, decades of experience in language teaching. She evaluates detection tools from a teacher's perspective: not "is the API fast?" but "would this help me in a classroom without ruining a student's life?"
That's a perspective no tech review site has. We're building the column now.
What we don't do
- We don't claim 100% accuracy on anything — including our own detector.
- We don't take money to inflate ratings. Affiliate links, when we add them, will be labelled.
- We don't store the text you paste into our checker. It never leaves your browser.
Questions? We're a small project. For now, read the FAQ or try the detector.
